The 7th Day Church of God
in Knoxville, Tennessee has no
paid positions. All work is donated, no monetary compensation is
received. We follow the example of Paul and support ourselves so that
the Gospel can be preached for free.
Mark Carr has been our Pastor since 1988. He is a fourth generation Sabbath
keeper. He is the host of our daily radio show. Mark is a co-founder of Return To Torah
Ministries; editor of the Simple Truth; was a co-editor for The Jerusalem Sentinel and a frequent guest of
Dr. Kelley's Wellness Hour radio show. He also served
for seven years as a chaplain for the Knox County Jail. He is the author of many published articles and
booklets.
A big part of Mark's service to God is in the form of helping
people that are sick and suffering that God sends him to recover and
heal. He has spent thousands of hours researching the cause and
solution for various ailments, (Ezekiel 34:2-4).
